Abstract

The current global landscape is characterized by the complexity of climate crises, geopolitical instability, social inequality, pandemics, and the rapid acceleration of the digital revolution. These challenges demand leadership that is adaptive, visionary, and sustainability-oriented. This study aims to describe the concept of effective leadership, analyze its role in addressing global challenges, and provide recommendations for a sustainable leadership model in times of uncertainty. Employing a literature review approach from international scholarly works, the discussion focuses on five key dimensions: cultural intelligence, visionary leadership, ethical and sustainable leadership, digital leadership, and the integration of resilience with agility. Findings indicate that global leadership effectiveness is not solely defined by managerial competence but also by the incorporation of ethical values, technological literacy, and the capacity to manage cultural diversity. The study concludes that the leadership model of the future should balance profitability, sustainability, and global inclusivity.
