Sistem Informasi Emis dalam Pengambilan Kebijakan di MTs Qurán Center
Abstract
EMIS (Education Management Information System) is an application that is engaged in monitoring the latest data in an educational institution, especially Madrasas under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion, the purpose of this study is to determine whether the EMIS Information System can be used as a reference in determining or take a policy at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Qurán Center Baitul Qurán Al Askar Kendari. The research method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach that describes and examines the condition of the object of research based on authentic data collected by field research. This study seeks to reveal EMIS-based policy determination. The process intended to determine an Emis-based policy is to determine the activity planning, implementation and evaluation of EMIS at MTs Qurán Center Baitul Qurán Al Askar Kendari and then analyzed, reviewed and processed descriptively. Then the location in this research is at MTs Qurán Center Baitul Qurán Al Askar Kendari, Matabubu Village, Poasia District, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. The results of this study are EMIS (Education Management Information System) Policy making at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Qurán Center Baitul Qurán is not yet complete and the only one that can be used as a basis for making a policy, this is because the level of validation and updating of data is still not perfect. So that EMIS data can only be used as supporting data and still require physical files or reports from teachers and also other manual data through tracking and validating physical data. However, in the future EMIS can be used as a single data that can be used as a basis for making a policy, developing a system and updating data which is always carried out optimally by every educational institution under the auspices of the Ministry of Islamic Religion of the Republic of Indonesia.
